On Tuesday, February 25, 2025, Ambassador Dr. Muhammad Sabir, President of the President Jalal Talabani Foundation, signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Dr. Kawthar Al-Gharabi, President of the ENKI Foundation for Research and Studies in Baghdad, the capital of Iraq.
During the meeting, Ambassador Dr. Muhammad Sabir emphasized the significance of the ENKI Foundation, stating:
"The ENKI Foundation is an important center for thought and scientific research in Iraq, and we are fully prepared to collaborate with this institution in the fields of research and studies."
The Memorandum of Understanding between the two parties stipulates:
“ Our joint work focuses on launching programs to strengthen coordination between the President Jalal Talabani Foundation and the ENKI Foundation in research and studies, capacity development for cadres, and information exchange.”
Regarding the objectives of this memorandum, Ambassador Dr. Muhammad Sabir stated:
"This memorandum aims to develop a strategic partnership between the President Jalal Talabani Foundation and the ENKI Foundation, support the implementation of joint projects and activities, and provide the necessary resources for research and studies."
For her part, Dr. Kawthar Al-Gharabi, President of the ENKI Foundation for Research and Studies, commented:
"Through this memorandum, we aim to exchange knowledge, train researchers, facilitate translation, conduct joint research, and organize necessary workshops in collaboration with the President Jalal Talabani Foundation."
At the conclusion of the meeting, Ambassador Dr. Muhammad Sabir affirmed:
"We will soon begin implementing the provisions of this memorandum in partnership with the ENKI Foundation, dedicating it to the service of researchers and specialists in the field of studies and research."
