Garmyan University Successfully Inaugurated the Largest International Scientific Conference

Garmyan University successfully inaugurated the largest International Scientific Conference under the auspices of Ambassador Dr. Muhammad Sabir, President of the Jalal Talabani Foundation and in collaboration with Garmyan University. The conference, held on Sunday and Monday, March 2-4, 2024, marked a significant milestone as numerous researchers from both foreign and domestic regions, including European countries, Turkey, Egypt, Iran, and Iraq, actively participated.

Covering a diverse range of disciplines, the conference discussed topics such as language, literature, history, archaeology, geography, religion, culture, law, politics, sports, arts, education, and social sciences. A total of 84 research abstracts were submitted, with 62 reaching the conference scientific committee. Following rigorous evaluation by the committee, 48 research papers were accepted, while 14 were regrettably rejected.

These submissions, originating from 17 universities and institutes, were presented in Kurdish, Arabic, English, and Persian languages, showcasing the conference's commitment to promoting academic discourse across various linguistic and scholarly domains.
