A Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the President Jalal Talabani Foundation and the University of Halabja

Dr. Mohammad Sabir, the President of the President Jalal Talabani Foundation (PJTF) and Prof. Dr. Mahabad Kamil, the President of the University of Halabja (UoH), signed the Memorandum (MoU) on May 23rd, 2023 at the UoH. 

The Foundation’s head of Administration and Relations, along with the University’s Vice President, deans, the director of International Academic Relations and the CDC director, took part in the event as well. 
 
After the MoU was signed, a press conference was held, in which the objective of the MoU was stated.

Dr. Sabir mentioned the crucial role President Jalal Talabani played in the establishment of universities and his immense support, thus higher education and the development of relationships with universities at both national and international levels are important to the PJTF.

During the conference, Dr. Kamil also conveyed the UoH pride in signing the MoU with the foundation.

The collaboration intends to establish and strengthen the cooperation between the two parties with regards to collaboration developments, knowledge exchange, and experience. The focus is to provide undergraduates, post graduate, youth development and the community with excellent services and suitable environments.
