Ambassador Dr. Muhammad Sabir Visits Qatari Embassy in Baghdad to Encourage Educational and Developmental Collaborations

Ambassador Dr. Muhammad Sabir, President of the President Jalal Talabani Foundation, and his delegation visited the Qatari State Embassy in Baghdad on May 22, 2024. They were warmly received by the deputy ambassador of Qatar, Mr. Abdel Aziz Abidan.

During the visit, Ambassador Dr. Muhammad Sabir emphasized that the President Jalal Talabani Foundation is a cultural and national independent organization officially registered across Iraq. He reiterated the foundation's commitment to cooperative opportunities and mutual work with governmental and non-profit organizations to provide the best services.

Furthermore, Ambassador Dr. Muhammad Sabir requested assistance in allocating scholarships at Qatari universities for Iraqi graduates to pursue Master's and PhD degrees in Humanities and Sciences.

Deputy Ambassador Mr. Abdel Aziz Abidan welcomed the foundation's president and his delegation, appreciating the foundation's efforts to become a center for education and training, focusing on sustainable development in human culture and society. He emphasized Qatar's commitment to serious collaboration with the President Jalal Talabani Foundation to identify opportunities for mutual development projects aimed at promoting the quality of life for all societal strata.
