Ambassador Dr. Muhammad Sabir Congratulates Mr. Nizar Amedi and Emphasizes Preserving President Jalal Talabani’s Legacy

Ambassador Dr. Muhammad Sabir, President of the President Jalal Talabani Foundation, and his delegation visited the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) Politburo Office, where they were received by His Excellency, the Minister of Environment of the Federal Government and the head of the PUK Politburo, Mr. Nizar Amedi, along with the Undersecretary of the Federal Ministry of Oil for Gas Affairs, Dr. Izzat Sabir Ismael.

During the visit, Ambassador Dr. Muhammad Sabir congratulated Mr. Nizar Amedi on his new responsibility as head of the PUK Politburo. He reiterated the importance of the PUK in Baghdad, highlighting its wide relations and favorability among many political blocs, a testament to the legacy left by President Jalal Talabani.

In response, Mr. Nizar Amedi emphasized the future plans to advance the PUK's progress and the need for mutual efforts to ensure the success of the PUK's initiatives in Baghdad. He stressed the importance of addressing the challenges faced by the party cadres and the organization as a whole.

Both parties agreed to allocate a space for the President Jalal Talabani Foundation within the PUK Center. This space will facilitate coordination and follow-up between the foundation and other parties in Baghdad, working towards introducing the foundation to political parties and exploring avenues of collaboration between the foundation, organizations, and other entities for its efforts in Baghdad.
