The President Jalal Talabani Foundation and Bahr Al-Uloom Foundation Discuss Holding the Second National Forum

On May 19, 2024, the President of the President Jalal Talabani Foundation, Ambassador Dr. Muhammad Sabir, and his delegation visited Dr. Ibrahim Bahr Al-Uloom, President of the Bahr Al-Uloom Foundation, to discuss holding the second national forum for President Jalal Talabani and issuing a special book on the works of the first forum.

They explored the idea of the second forum as an embodiment of the first forum's recommendations and discussed the possibility of launching it at the University of Basrah. They agreed on institutionalizing the work of the President Jalal Talabani Foundation national forum by establishing a quintipartite vision (2024-2029) for suggested projects, involving both foundations.

Both parties emphasized the importance of continuing to hold the forum under their joint initiative, extending it to universities and academic institutions. They also considered the possibility of issuing and signing a special book related to the first forum's affairs in Baghdad and Sulaimaniyah, alongside holding conversational forums attended by an elite group of thinkers and intellectuals.
